¡Hola! Mi nombre es Jazmin Muñoz y estoy encantada de ser la maestra de tercer grado. Este será mi quinto año aquí en Adams y estoy dedicado a crear un ambiente en el aula donde cada estudiante se sienta valorado y entusiasmado por aprender.  ¡Me siento muy afortunada de estar aquí en Adams con ustedes! 

Un poco sobre mí: me gradué de la Universidad de St. Thomas con mi maestría en educación. Sabía que el idioma de español sería una pieza esencial de mi enseñanza, pero no supe el impacto hasta que comencé a enseñar en Adams. ¡Realmente me encanta ser parte del aprendizaje de ser bilingüe! Algunas de mis cosas favoritas son mis programas de televisión favoritos, salir a caminar con mi perro Benito, probar nuevos restaurantes y pasar tiempo con mis amigos y mi familia.

¡El tercer grado es un año de demasiado crecimiento! Este año, aceptaremos los desafíos con entusiasmo, entendiendo que sentirse un poco incómodo puede ser parte del viaje de aprendizaje. Nos centraremos en construir un fuerte sentido de comunidad donde los estudiantes se conecten y se apoyen entre sí. Creo que cada estudiante tiene fortalezas y talentos únicos y me dedico a ayudar a cada niño a desarrollarse académicamente, social y emocionalmente durante todo el año.

My name is Jazmin Muñoz and am thrilled to be teaching third grade! This will be my fifth year here at Adams and I am dedicated to creating a classroom environment where every student feels valued and excited to learn.  I feel so lucky to be here at Adams with you! 

A little about me: I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with my masters in education. I knew that the Spanish language would be an essential piece to my teaching but didn’t know the impact until I started teaching at Adams. I really love being a part of my student’s journey to being bilingual and biliterate! Some of my favorite things are catching up on my favorite TV shows, going on walks with my dog, Benito, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with my friends and family.

Third grade is a year of significant growth! This year, we will embrace challenges with enthusiasm, understanding that feeling a bit uncomfortable can be part of the learning journey. We will focus on building a strong sense of community where students connect with and support each other. I believe every student has unique strengths and talents and I am dedicated to helping each child develop academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year.  I am looking forward to an amazing school year filled with learning, growth, and fun!
