9:00 – 9:15 CLEANING AND FINISHING PROJECTS
During
this period students help me to clean their tables and chairs as well
as the shelves and round tables. They also use this time to finish
projects their haven’t finished the day before. With these activities I
am trying to develop a sense of belonging and responsibility for the
classroom environment.
This is my third year using the Responsive
Classroom approach in my classroom. This approach considers that the
social curriculum is as important as the academic curriculum and
therefore should be teach at school.
