| Artes Visuales/Visual Arts |  | Adams ofrece arte a todos los estudiantes de kinder hasta sexto grado. Los estudiantes en Adams aprenden sobre artistas importantes y tradiciones artisticas del mundo hablahispana. Así aprenden sobre la historia y cultura de diferentes comunidades.
Los estudiantes aprenden los elementos de arte como el color y la forma. Experimentan con una variedad de materiales como el tejido, la cerámica, el grabado y la escultura.
En la clase se anima a los estudiantes a explorar y expresarse a través de los artes visuales. Se pone énfasis en el valor de la creatividad en muchos aspectos de la vida.
Adams offers art to all students K-6. The sudents at Adams learn about important artists and art traditions in the Spanish speaking world. In this way they learn about the history and culture of different communities.
Students learn the elements of art such as color and shape. They experience a variety of different materials and techniques such as weaving, ceramics, printmaking and sculpture.
Students are encouraged to explore and express themselves through the arts. There is emphasis placed on the value of creativity as a life skill, benefitting students in anything they pursue.
