Welcome Students, Parents, and Adams Community Members!
Hello! My name is Hannah Adams, and I am 3rd grade teacher. This is my second year at Adams and I am thrilled to be a part of such a warm and welcoming school community. I am not a native Spanish Speaker; however, I have been speaking the language for many years while studying abroad (primarily in Quito, Ecuador), during college, and as a volunteer right here in the Twin Cities. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Teaching at Hamline University. I understand how important a challenging immersion environment is when learning a language, and I strive to provide this environment though the careful integration of language and content. Also, in our classroom this year we will be working with Stephanie DeFrance, an ELL specialist and Felipe Forero, a talented intern from Colombia.

¡Hola! Me llamo Hannah Adams, y soy una maestra del tercer grado. Este es mi primer año aquí en Adams y me alegra mucho ser parte de una comunidad tan calurosa.
No soy hablante nativa de Español; sin embargo, he estado hablando esta lengua por un tiempo mientras estuve estudiando en el exterior (especialmente en Quito, Ecuador), durante la universidad y como voluntaria aquí en las Ciudades Gemelas. En el momento estoy cursando una Maestría en Enseñanza en la Universidad de Hamline. Se lo importante que es un ambiente de inmersión cuando se está aprendiendo una lengua y estoy con todo mi empeño y esfuerzo para proveer este ambiente, además del cuidado de integrar el idioma con el contenido. Finalmente, este año en nuestro salón de clase tendremos el apoyo de Stephanie DeFrance, una especialista en ELL y Felipe Forero , un interno talentoso que viene de Colombia.
