I was born in Mexico City but raised in Merida, Mexico, which is the capital of the state of Yucatan. I have been living in Minnesota for seven years now and while I’m learning to survive winter, my favorite season is still summer.

I received my Early Childhood Montessori degree in Merida, Mexico and I earned my Elementary Education degree from Minnesota State University. I have worked with young children since 1998 in school settings, daycare and volunteer opportunities. I really enjoy working with young children and my dream has always been to teach Kindergarten; I am so lucky to be able to do it here at Adams. 

I love traveling and learning about different cultures. One of the many things I love about Adams is the diversity of the students and educators.  I have been able to learn so much about different cultures from my students and colleagues and I enjoy sharing my cultural experiences with others.

Nací en la ciudad de México, pero desde muy pequeña mi familia y yo cambiamos de residencia, por lo que crecí en Mérida, la capital del Estado de Yucatán, en donde estudié y recibí un título de Educación Preescolar, como Guía Montessori.

He vivido en Minnesota, desde hace siete años, lugar en donde continué con mis estudios universitarios y recibí mi título de Educación Primaria, en Minnesota State University. He trabajado en escuelas y guarderías, con niños pequeños, desde 1998 y tambien como voluntaria. Disfruto mucho mi trabajo y mi sueño siempre había sido ser maestra de kinder, por lo que me siento muy afortunada de estar realizando mi sueño en la Escuela Adams.

Durante el tiempo que he vivido aquí he aprendido a sobrevivir los inviernos pero mi estación favorita es el verano. Me gusta viajar y aprender acerca de diferentes culturas; una de las tantas cosas que me encantan de la Escuela Adams es la diversidad de los estudiantes y maestros, de quienes he aprendido mucho, y disfruto compartir mi cultura con los demás.
