Our school is a place where families and staff value the opportunities gained from learning a second language. K-1 students learn basic subjects - math, reading, language arts, science and social studies – all in Spanish. Beginning in grade 2, students receive 30 minutes of English instruction every day. Parents are encouraged to participate and volunteer in our school. Experience has shown that parent involvement is an important aspect of successful immersion programs.
Staff can find resources here such as laptop cart reservation, submitting a technology ticket, etc.
I understand what it's like to have your children in an immersion school, as both my sons went to Adams and continued in the Highland Junior and Senior High Spanish Immersion programs. Being bilingual is one of the most wonderful gifts that we can give our children--and it's one that lasts a lifetime.
